Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her portrayals as the protagonist in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is well-known for her performances in the film 'Private Parties as well as 'Deep Insanity, True Crime and 1408. McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family that had no connection to entertainment at all to her family tree, is the daughter of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an Ice Cream Parlor. Her acting career started when she was 12 years old when she appeared in the stage version of 'Amahl & the Night Visitors, the Christmas-themed opera. When she was just 12 the stage journey began by performing in "Amahl as well as the Night Visitors" which was a Christmas opera. The actor performed throughout the years, and her roles eventually made it to the screen. Nowadays, McCormack is recognized as one of the best actors in Hollywood. McCormack has three daughters along together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
